Nothing all excellent.

Our group of friends had a wonderful time at a traditional ryokan in a great location. It was quite near a station and close to everything, including the beautiful Hoshino area. The Japanese and international staff were very kind and helped us with everything we needed. The room and restroom were very clean, and we enjoyed the cozy futon beds. The inn also had a nice garden and an enjoyable onsen.

The corridors were quite cold and could use better heating and insulation.

The onsen-style showers were a nice touch, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The location was also great, close to a train station and with easy access to nearby attractions. We especially enjoyed the comfortable beds, which helped us to get a good night's sleep after a busy Christmas day.

Our room had some maintenance issues that were not resolved during our stay. The heaters stopped working in the middle of the night, leaving us feeling cold and uncomfortable.
